Guided extreme whitewater tandem kayaking. You take the front seat with a guide in the back. Together you paddle the awesome falls and drops of the Kaituna River. We provide the kayak, guide and the skill, you provide the adrenalin. Limited to 85kgs.

Lake Rotoiti
A beautiful half-day paddle taking sea kayaks around the shores of Lake Rotoiti for a soak in the Manupirua Hot Springs. Includes transport, a snack and entry into the springs

Any person thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused passage and no refund will be given.
Our guides come mostly from a wildwater kayaking background; their experience enables them to safely assess river conditions for our clients’ safety. They have a very professional attitude to rafting/kayaking, great personalities and are fun to be on the water with!
All guides are registered and trained to the standards of the appropriate authorities.
Kaituna Cascades actively supports some of New Zealand's best Whitewater competitors in representing New Zealand at National and International competitions.
